Artist Biography

Los Angeles-based songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Maia Sharp has just finished her 4th solo album entitled ECHO, with Grammy award winning uber-producer Don Was, every drummer's favorite drummer Jim Keltner, and profoundly soulful special guest vocalist Bonnie Raitt

Maia Sharp has seen more than two dozen of her songs recorded by artists that run the genre gamut, from chart-topping pop artists to Rock and Roll Hall of Famers including Bonnie Raitt, The Dixie Chicks, Art Garfunkel, Edwin McCain, Trisha Yearwood, Amanda Marshall, David Wilcox, Paul Carrack, Cher, Kathy Mattea and Mindy Smith to name a few. 

Maia has written with Carole King, Jules Shear, Timothy B. Schmitt, David Wilcox, Edwin McCain, Lisa Loeb, Mindy Smith, Howard Jones, The Go Go's, Billy Mann, Terri Clark, Paul Carrack, Keb' Mo' and many more.
