MAUDLIN is a power trio from Minneapolis fronted by high school sweethearts Priscilla & David Priebe and drummer Whelan Keenan. The duo writes music about love, lust, and what goes bump in the night— David & Priscilla pride themselves on super boppy hits, enormous energy, and earworm hooks. Fans of the Pixies & Weezer will love their songwriting, and fans of Lucy Dacus, Bully, and Mates of States will love the vocals' big harmonies and female energy. The band is hailed by the fringe and has had a cult following since their teens. Grave Danger, their 2021 release written before & during the pandemic, is a bombastic album about controversy, conspiracy, and teen love, all enveloped in the guise of monsters, folklore, and sci-fi.
